1. Customer Service Representative (Pro Shop, Café & Retail)

Casual | Flexible Hours Including Weekends

Are you passionate about customer service and love working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? Yarra Bend Golf is seeking a friendly, motivated Customer Service Representative to join our front-of-house team in the Pro Shop and Café.

Tasks and Duties Include:

Greet and assist members, guests, and visitors with professionalism and warmth

Provide detailed information about our golf course, services, and retail offerings

Operate point of sale systems for bookings, retail sales, and food and beverage transactions

Recommend and upsell golf and retail products

Ensure carts and equipment are ready for hire and in good condition

Assist with café service, coffee preparation, and grab-and-go food offerings

Maintain the appearance and functionality of the shop and café area

What We’re Looking For:

Previous customer service experience is essential

Experience in café operations, barista work or fast-paced food & beverage service is highly desirable

An energetic, professional attitude and willingness to go the extra mile to achieve a win-win outcome

Comfortable multitasking under pressure while keeping a smile on your face

Availability to work weekends and public holidays as needed

2. First Tee Starter Attendant

Casual | Early Mornings & Weekends Required

Are you an experienced golfer with a strong understanding of pace of play, group etiquette and tee sheet management? We're seeking a confident and personable First Tee Starter Attendant to be the face of our golf course for players heading out for their round.

What You'll Do:

Greet and coordinate golfers at the 1st tee, ensuring a smooth start to play

Monitor and maintain the tee sheet schedule and encourage timely starts

Identify opportunities for group pairings to improve the pace of play and player experience

Conduct on-course patrols and offer friendly, but firm reminders to speed up slow groups

Promote course etiquette and rules to maintain a respectful and enjoyable environment

Provide guidance and support to ensure a consistent and high-quality experience for all golfers

What We’re Looking For:

Strong knowledge of golf, tee time management, and etiquette is essential

Comfortable communicating policies and giving direction in a clear, respectful manner

Friendly and personable, yet confident enforcing pace of play rules when required

Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail

A team player who enjoys contributing to a well-run golf course
