About the role

We have an opportunity for an Application Developer to be part of our Application Platform Services, Technology and Communication Services Command. The Application Developer contributes to the development, implementation, maintenance, and support of software, web, and multi-media applications that facilitates the achievement of business outcomes and improves business efficiencies and processes through leveraging technology. This is an exciting opportunity to support the Adabas COPS policing platform and transition to a modernised Policing Technology Platform. The dynamic IT space offers opportunities to contribute significant impacts on operational policing and a safer NSW.

Referencing your relevant ADABAS/Natural skills, outline your experience in development, implementation and support of a critical business application in an agile environment, including:

a) Tasks performed;
b) documentation prepared; and
c) experience using JCL, XML, and TSO

Detail your experience when you have worked in fast paced environments with limited supervision. Please provide examples on how you managed your work, seek feedback and learned new technologies for your role.
