About the Role
This is a varied and hands-on role supporting a senior leader and their team within a busy Dispute Resolution practice. You’ll play a pivotal role in the smooth day-to-day operations of the practice by providing high-level legal and administrative support. Key responsibilities include:
Drafting, formatting, and preparing legal correspondence and court documents
Preparing briefs to counsel and managing court filing requirements
Opening, closing, archiving, and maintaining electronic files
Managing diaries, emails, and coordinating meetings and appointments
Handling monthly billing, timesheet entries, and expenses
What You’ll Bring
Prior experience as a Legal Assistant or Secretary, ideally within litigation or dispute resolution
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and document management systems
Outstanding organisational skills and ability to prioritise competing deadlines
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills

A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
The ability to communicate clearly and confidently at all levels
Intermediate to advanced MS Word skills, including document creation and presentation
An understanding of MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint and other software
A demonstrated commitment to internal and external service standards
An adaptable and flexible nature
