We’re seeking a trusted and reliable Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Brisbane.

About the Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations across AMG’s network. You will work across core areas such as financial reporting, payroll, AP/AR, compliance, and process improvement, helping drive financial efficiency and supporting our broader business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations

Manage general ledger entries, journals, accruals, and prepayments

Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions using Exflow and Wiise

Process payroll using Wiise Payroll and maintain up-to-date employee records

Ensure compliance with financial regulations (GST, BAS, PAYG, Super)

Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Maintain integrity of financial systems and support process improvements

Liaise with clinic managers and staff to resolve payroll and invoice queries

Assist in audits, bank reconciliations, and stocktake processes

What You Bring

Proven experience in a similar accounting role, ideally in a multi-site or healthcare environment

Strong knowledge of payroll, AP/AR, and financial reporting

Experience with Wiise and/or Exflow (highly regarded)

Familiarity with the Nurses Award and Health Professionals & Support Services Award (desirable)

Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
