About the role

We are currently experiencing sales growth and expansion and have an exciting opportunity within our team for a Production Supervisor.

You will lead your team to manufacture a wide variety of products meeting Earlee Products, safety, quality, productivity and MIFOT standards.

Day to Day responsibilities

Promote and demonstrates Earlee Products WH&S, culture, values and mission.

Support the overall business to work within a LEAN and Continuous Improvement framework for continued business growth. Develop benchmarks and standards and create framework for collection of data and assessment tools

Support the Team Leader in the supervision of the QC role to ensure that the correct raw materials are picked and blended. Ensure correct set up and structure is in place each day.

Work with QA (Parm) to establish SOPs, training matrix and conduct required training as required.

Ensure that all products made meet specifications and are correctly labelled and ready for dispatch to the customer to meet the production schedule MIFOT.

Support the Team Leader in the coordination of Casual Staff to meet the production schedule.

Adheres to and ensures compliance to company’s food safety HACCP’s and GMP requirements.

Assists with preventative maintenance, breakdowns and new equipment installations.

Support the HR functions of the team, toolbox talks, performance reviews, record of conversations, safety talks and other training in consultation with management.

Work with fellow supervisors and team leaders to undertake any additional duties to meet the daily schedule.

Follow the process of meeting the individual development projects set by the Dry Production Manager.

Ensure production schedule maximises the resources for the day, bring next day production forward when there is spare capacity in the day.

Working Relationships

Work with the Dry Production Operators and Team Leaders to make sure they are all trained on SOP as required.

Provide support to the Dry Production Manager/APM to oversee the daily activities of the business.

Provide support to team leaders and operators to meet the objectives of the schedule and tasks required daily or on shift.

Work with the Quality Assurance Team for all compliance issues including GMP audits.

Work with despatch and supply chain team to manage the raw material and finished goods flow to ensure MIFOT, allergen control and coordinate customer requirements.

Work with WH&S manager to provide a safe work environment for the team.

Yield target met or exceeded

Reduce rework YoY

Reduce WH&S incidents YoY

Ensure Team 1o1’s are completed twice per year, performance reviews are completed annually or whenever required.

Skills and Experience

Previous experience in a supervisor position

Strong attention to detail

Basic computer skills as data entry will be required.

Good communication skills

Positive can-do attitude.
