We are looking for a confident and experienced Claims Executive (General Lines) to join a supportive, high-performing claims team.

Clarity Partners is partnering with a global, independent insurance brokerage that is expanding its presence in Australia. In this role, you’ll manage general insurance claims with a strong focus on service excellence, technical quality, and effective stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of general insurance claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing from first notification to settlement.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, brokers, and underwriters to ensure efficient claims resolution.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external parties such as adjusters, surveyors, and legal advisors.
• Prepare and submit necessary documentation in line with internal processes and regulatory standards.
• Deliver exceptional service while handling inquiries, escalations, and reporting obligations.
• Ensure claims files are complete, compliant, and up-to-date across internal systems.
• Contribute to client meetings, claims reviews, and relationship management efforts.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in general insurance claims (broking or insurer-side).
• Sound understanding of claims processes, regulatory obligations, and relevant insurance products.
• Client-focused mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in claims systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Collaborative, proactive, and accountable working style.
• Exposure to commercial or corporate clients is advantageous.
