The Opportunity
Our client within the utilities sector is seeking a skilled OT Project Manager to oversee and deliver critical IT/OT projects. This role offers the chance to lead digital transformation initiatives within a complex operational technology environment.
The Role
As an OT Project Manager, you will be responsible for providing program oversight and coordination across key technology initiatives, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Your other responsibilities will include:
- Leading the delivery of OT-focused projects including protocol transitions, system upgrades, and documentation improvements
- Managing the scoping and cost estimating of the Kingfisher to DNP3 protocol transition
- Driving Citect-related projects (clustering rollout and version upgrades across multiple sites)
- Overseeing the analogue to digital radio uplift project
- Supporting the uplift of operational documentation, standards, and processes
About you
In order to be a successful applicant, you will have demonstrated experience in managing OT programs, with a focus on IT/OT applications delivery.
You will also have:
- Background in utilities (Water, Gas, Electricity, or Mining)
- Strong skills in whole-of-life asset management, risk planning, and financial oversight
- Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., BPMN) and business improvement analysis
- Exposure to systems like SCADA, Kingfisher RTUs, Trio Radios, Industrial 3G/4G modems, or HMIs
- Desirable experience with DERMS, ADMS, Metering, or AMI technologies
