About the role

Explorers Learning Academy, a highly regarded early childhood education provider, is seeking a passionate and experienced Room Leader to oversee our 2-3 year old room. This is a full-time position based in Bardia, NSW. As the Room Leader, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and enriching environment that supports the children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement engaging educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework

Supervise and mentor a team of Educators to ensure high-quality care and learning outcomes

Build strong relationships with children and their families, fostering open communication and collaboration

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including work health and safety

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service through reflective practice and feedback

Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

Minimum Diploma or Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) qualification in Early Childhood Education

Demonstrated experience as a Room Leader or in a similar supervisory role within the childcare sector

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences

Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and the ability to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
