About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Preschool Room Leader with a minimum of three years’ experience in a similar leadership role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated early childhood professional to lead our preschool program, guiding and mentoring a team while fostering a rich and engaging learning environment for children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preschool room, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and high-quality learning environment.

• Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and supports children’s development and school readiness.

• Maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and all relevant regulations and laws.

• Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and team members.

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to educators within the preschool room.

• Effectively manage time and resources to ensure smooth daily operations.

• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development, with a growth mindset.

Essential Criteria :

( You must have full working rights or equivalent since this is a Full Time position only) :

• ECT/Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher).

• Minimum of three years’ experience as a Room Leader in a preschool setting.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of EYLF, NQF, NQS, and relevant regulations.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong time management and organisational abilities.

• A genuine passion for early childhood education and supporting children’s development.

• A commitment to professional growth and continuous learning.
