The Digital Services Directorate leads the planning, development, and continuous improvement of CQUniversity’s enterprise information systems. These systems are vital to the University’s operations, and our team provides expert support and strategic advice across all faculties and divisions.
We are seeking proactive, analytical professionals with a strong understanding of business systems, software support, and user experience.
As a Business Systems Support Analyst, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our digital environment. You’ll work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to resolve issues, improve system functionality, and ensure our platforms meet the evolving needs of staff and students.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to digital transformation initiatives, streamline operations, and improve service delivery across the University.
What you’ll do
Analyse and document user requirements and system issues.
Provide expert support for enterprise applications, including triage, troubleshooting, and resolution.
Collaborate with development and solutions teams to assess and implement system improvements.
Assist with system upgrades, testing, and maintenance activities.
Contribute to documentation, training, and user engagement to enhance digital adoption.

Position Requirements
Essential
Demonstrated ability to assess and interpret user needs and translate them into system requirements.
Effective problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyse software functions and resolve user-reported issues.
Strong understanding of software design principles, program code, and relational databases.
Completed a relevant IT degree with at least one year of experience in supporting information systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desirable
Experience with TechnologyOne applications.
Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture and Agile methodologies.
Exposure to Jira, Confluence, and ITIL frameworks.
