The Role:

Restaurant Supervisor (Full time $55-$60k)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Restaurant Supervisor to join one of the top Italian restaurants in Brisbane. Sasso Italiano is a busy neighbourhood trattoria in a new dining precinct in Woolloongabba.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure the delivery of exceptional guest service at all times during service periods

Ensure guest service is delivered in line with the venues approved sequence of service program, including anticipating the guests needs and reading the room

Continuously review and provide feedback to the Restaurant Manager on the sequence of service program

Complete opening and/or closing duties as assigned, and ensure readiness of crew, equipment, stock, stations and floor for service

Provide on floor coaching and feedback to FOH crew regarding service delivery, ensuring standards are being met

Responsible for the delivery of service related training and development programs, including induction plans, buddy shifts and any other service related training

Display a positive, helpful and polite attitude towards guests and crew, and promote a positive and productive crew culture

Provide support and assistance to FOH crew during service

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of venue, station and service areas at all times

Triage guest complaints and escalate to Restaurant Manager to resolve

Follow maintenance program and cleaning schedule

Perform waiting, running, bar, host and cashiering duties when required

Proactively carry out any other duties as instructed by Restaurant Manager

Experience:

To be considered for this fantastic roles, you will require the following:

Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role

Experience working in a high volume, fast paced environment

Demonstrated ability to work under pressure

Demonstrated leadership skills

Computer skills - proficiency in Microsoft office

Understanding of Shiji and Sevenrooms systems preferred
