About the Role

We’re seeking a talented and adaptable Landscape Architect to join our Richlands head office in a full-time capacity. This role is essential to designing vibrant, sustainable outdoor spaces, including playgrounds, aquatic environments, and recreational parks that spark joy and connection. The ideal candidate will bring 2-5 years of experience, a creative flair, and the ability to seamlessly shift between supporting client-side teams and internal project stakeholders.

You’ll work across diverse projects, collaborating with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver designs that are both innovative and practical. This role suits someone eager to grow, embrace varied responsibilities, and contribute to meaningful community-focused projects.

What You'll Be Doing

Design imaginative outdoor spaces, such as adventure playgrounds, aquatic areas, and recreational parks, that meet client objectives and community needs.

Support client-side design consultants for adventure playgrounds and the aquatics design division, ensuring cohesive and innovative project outcomes.

Collaborate with internal engineering, drafting, and industrial designers to ensure concepts are feasible, compliant, and delivered on time and within budget.

Integrate sustainable and creative elements, including interactive play features, water-efficient systems, and eco-friendly materials.

Produce detailed plans, drawings, and specifications using tools like AutoCAD, Rhino, Inventor or similar design software.

Conduct site assessments and oversee project implementation to uphold design quality and integrity.

Present concepts to clients and stakeholders, refining designs based on feedback and project requirements.

Stay informed on industry trends, safety standards, and local regulations to ensure compliance and cutting-edge creativity.

What We're Looking For

A degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.

2-5 years of experience in landscape architecture, preferably with exposure to playgrounds, aquatics, or recreational spaces emphasizing adventure play.

Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Rhino, Inventor).

A creative and adaptable mindset with a passion for crafting playful, community-driven outdoor environments.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with diverse internal teams, consultants, and clients.

Knowledge of local regulations and standards for outdoor spaces (e.g., safety, accessibility, environmental & building codes).

Ability to juggle multiple projects and pivot between tasks in a fast-paced setting.
