About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to conduct and support the delivery of the Annual Audit plan, providing sound professional advice and recommendations to the Director Internal Audit and the Metro North Health Executive Management Team to improve the monitoring, development and delivery of Metro North Health's programs.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Prepare quality audit reports outlining findings and recommendations which address root causes and enhance performance outcomes.
- Undertake follow up and reporting on management actions in relation to audit recommendations.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, including senior leadership, management and staff relevant to audit and advisory activities. Stakeholders may include Co-source and Departmental staff.
- Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
