About the role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction/Operations Administration Officer to join our growing team in our Civil Construction business located in Morisset, NSW. This part-time role will be responsible for providing administrative support to our construction and operations teams, ensuring efficient and effective operations and reporting across the business.

What you'll be doing

Providing administrative support to the construction and operations teams, including managing project files, daily site data management and assisting with contract management

Assisting with procurement of construction consumables and professional services

Assisting with the preparation of daily and fortnightly reports, collating payroll information, assisting with accounts payable and credit card reconciliations

Handling routine correspondence and fielding inquiries from clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders

Maintaining and updating various project managment systems and databases

Providing general office support as needed, such as ordering supplies and managing office equipment

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative or office support role, preferably within the construction, property development, finance, accounting, project management or similar role.

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders

Proficient in MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This role is well suited to someone to work around school hours

There is potential to increase the scope of this role to full time if the incumbent has aptitude, skills/experience to expand the role.
