Darling & Co is located in the heart of PADDINGTON, enjoying a reputation as the local's favourite and playing home to Brissy's sports fans with Suncorp Stadium, literally across the road!

Our venue features bar, restaurant and function facilities catering to every occasion. We are open from 11am Wednesday to Sunday and our menus change seasonally, featuring fresh, locally sourced produce.

About The Role

Reporting to our experienced Head Chef, you will enjoy a diverse mix of kitchen responsibilities, meeting our ala carte and function business needs, whilst possessing;

The capacity to operate in a fast paced environment

Excellent communication skills with the kitchen brigade and FOH team

Sound leadership skills and the ability to mentor staff (as required)

The ability to self-motivate and operate both autonomously and creatively

Be well-presented at all times

About You

To be successful in this role, you will :

Have achieved a Cert III in Commercial Cookery

Be a hands-on Chef who strives to make moments more

Be able to deliver consistently strong food service, everyday

Possess strong people management and customer service skills
