YOUR NEW ROLE
In this KEY hands-on senior role, reporting to the Head Practice Leader-Legal (top-calibre specialist immigration lawyer with 30+ yrs exp), you will love the stimulating challenge +rewards+fulfilment:

Managing your own immigration practice/clients (95% corporates, 5% individuals) focusing on visa classes 482,191,400,186,408 & 494 -providing full-spectrum advice including: visa options, eligibility,application merits, drafting submissions/labour agreements/letters of advice, preparing and lodging visa applications & liaising with immigration authorities/skills assessment bodies, responding to refusals, judicial reviews/appeals & attending court/tribunal.

Mentoring/Supervising 1 dedicated paralegal who will be assisting you;

Contributing ideas to improve/add value to the business+ assisting sales/marketing team with business development.

WHO YOU ARE

We are interested in hearing from you if you:

Are a lawyer admitted in Victoria with a current practising certificate;

Have MINIMUM 3+ years post-admission (or more up to senior associate) in immigration law specifically with experience with employer sponsored visas (essential) & AAT+ Federal Circuit Court cases (all essential);

Have proven ability to autonomously manage a high volume of cases in a busy fast-paced dead-line driven environment providing technical immigration legal advice to corporate clients (essential);

are proactive, results driven & passionate about making a positive impact on real people’s lives;

have outstanding communication+ client engagement + leadership skills and seek a long-term career with a proven employer who invests in their staff.
