About this Role

As a member of our Bookkeeping Team you will play an important role in delivering exceptional customer service. You will be joining a dynamic team and work closely with clients, accountants, and third parties. The role includes a variety of compliance and administrative tasks across a range of client entities and will include:

Completing client data input as required and bank reconciliations. Can also can include Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

Generate necessary journal entries, trial balances and monthly reports

Prepare general workpapers and spreadsheets in support of the client’s source documents

Process GST returns (BAS and IAS) as required

Manage clients' payroll function as requested. This can include preparation of pay runs, payment of superannuation, review of awards and support

Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the firm’s services, systems and processes

Skills and Experience

We are seeking a person with great skills and a great outlook. As well as being an excellent communicator you will have:

Prior experience in a public practice environment

Strong written & verbal communication skills & attention to detail

A keen customer service focus

Organisational skills & ability to prioritise.

A team mentality and be someone who thrives in a collaborative environment.

Ideally you will have experience with some of the following:

Handisoft or Xero XPM

Xero

ATO Agent Portal

ASIC

Adobe sign

You will receive an attractive remuneration package including:

5 weeks annual leave after 3 years of service

$4,000 per annum training/personal development allowance

2 days paid study/community service leave per year

1 Day per fortnight work from home.

Relocation costs – We are happy to discuss your costs of relocating to the Gold Coast

Technology -We provide a full work from home setup that mirrors the office – standard is 2 screens plus laptop, with docking stations at both locations, wireless keyboard and mouse, headset.

We use VOIP telephony enabling softphone or mobile access at home.

Employee Wellness Program - We provide a fully subsidised Employee Wellness Program. Team members have confidential access on company time to this service.

Parking - Dedicated or shared covered car park provided (depending on role)
