Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Centre Director to lead our team and manage the day-to-day operations of our centre. We are looking for a leader with a strong background in driving occupancy, retaining staff, creating a positive environment and delivering high-quality learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining high-quality standards.

Take on the role of the Nominated Supervisor/Responsible Person in Charge at the service.

Represent the centre in the local community, establishing partnerships and promoting the centre's values.

Manage the budget effectively, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Manage all administrative functions, including enrolments, Staff Roster, and reporting.

Promote positive behaviour & maintain healthy environment for the well-being of staff, children & stakeholders.

Lead the development and implementation of educational programs in line with The Early Years Learning Framework, which values a holistic view of each child's development.

Ensure staff fulfill all aspects of their job descriptions.

Provide guidance, leadership, mentorship, and support to a diverse team of educators, trainees, and students.

Contribute to the overall success of the centre through effective marketing and community engagement.

Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children, staff, and volunteers.

About You / Qualifications and skills:

Hold a Diploma or above in Early Childhood Education and Care

Minimum of 12 months experience in a similar leadership position

Must be available to work 5 days a week

Strong Computer Skills

A Valid Working with Children Check

Current First Aid Certificate

National Police Check (within 6 months)

Child Protection Training

In depth understanding of the EYLF and NQS to ensure quality outcomes for the children

Excellent communication skills written and verbal

Knowledge of Xplor CCS software is a plus
