About the role
We are offering a permanent part time Community Education Coordinator role in our Mandurah office. The position requires a team member to facilitate a range of in person and online courses and workshops during the day, evening or over an occasional weekend. You will have a demonstrated ability to engage, liaise and interact with a broad range of course participants. The heart of the role involves being an effective and engaging group facilitator, networking with internal and external stakeholders to promote Relationships Australia Community Education Services. Contributing to a positive team environment and assisting the Education Manager to facilitate to achieve education contract deliverables and consistently ensuring we provide an excellent learning client experience for participants.
Skills, experience, and qualifications
· Deliver effective groupwork facilitation and/or cofacilitation of both online and face of personal development, couples, families and parenting workshops and courses.
· Provide tech support for online courses and workshops.
· Assist in the effective co-ordination of Community Education service delivery.
· Be able to develop evidence-based course materials and review psychoeducational content.
· Actively participate throughout the year in professional development training sessions and group supervision.
· Oversee and conduct pre-course participant screening and follow up course enquiries.
· Demonstrate at least intermediate general computer skills including MS Office Suite, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams and Zoom.
· Ensure service delivery and conduct is aligned to organisational values, policies, and guidelines.
· Communicate both in writing and in person in a professional and timely manner.
· Proactively initiate activities to aid the promotion of Relationships Australia W.A. program services to the WA community including but not limited to internal and external stakeholders.
· Assist in the marketing of community education services.
· Be a respectful, emotionally intelligent, positive team member who aligns professionally to organisational values.
· Contribute to term planning for Community Education onsite and online course/workshop delivery.
· Comprehensively manage private presentation opportunities as they arise. Promptly, devise and communicate quotations to external stakeholders as well as facilitate private presentations when needed.
