SunnyJobs is seeking a skilled and reliable Pool Builder to join our team in rural Queensland. As a Pool Builder, you will be responsible for the construction and installation of residential and commercial swimming pools. This role is crucial to maintaining our client's reputation for high-quality, safe, and timely pool construction services.

Location: Rockhampton, Central Queensland (Regional)

Roster: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (with occasional weekend work depending on project needs).

Skills and Experience Required:

At least 1 year of experience in pool construction or a related trade (Cert III in Pool & Spa Building ideal).

Experience in excavation, concreting, fibreglass installation, and tiling is a bonus.

A manual driver’s licence and White Card (or willingness to get one).

The ability to read plans and work outdoors, alongside a strong knowledge of safety and pool building standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Construct pools including excavation, formwork, steel fixing, plumbing, and shell installation (fibreglass and concrete).

Prepare and maintain safe, compliant worksites.

Coordinate with plumbers and electricians to install pool systems.

Complete finishes (tiling, coping, decking) to spec and ensure quality control.

Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment.

Communicate with clients on progress and issues.

Ensure compliance with WHS, Australian Standards, and council regulations.
