We are looking for Roof Labourers/Shed Builders to join a small team. We deliver high-quality roofing solutions to the local Townsville and surrounding area.

Job Summary:

As a Roof Labourer/Shed Builder, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of roofs, and install and construction of sheds. You will work closely with experienced roofers and tradespeople, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently. This is a physically demanding role that requires working at heights and outdoors in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in installing, repairing, and replacing roofing materials (metal sheets, insulation, etc.).

• Load and unload roofing materials and transport them to the worksite.

• Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and secure roofing materials, as required.

• Set up and dismantle scaffolding and ladders as required.

• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.

• Perform general labouring duties to support roofers and tradespeople, as required.

Requirements:

• White Card (Construction Induction Card) – Mandatory for working on construction sites.

• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work in varying weather conditions.

• Driver’s License and Reliable Transport to get to sites

• Experience in Roofing or Construction is advantageous but not required; on-the-job training provided.

• Ability to Work at Heights, and be comfortable working on rooftops.

• Attention to detail, team player, and ability to work safely.

Casual role with potential part time/full time for right candidate, with above award wages.
