Description
Working as a Project Manager, you will take a leading role on projects from concept design and development stages, through to construction and completion.
- Planning all phases of the construction lifecycle from initiation to completion.
- Obtaining all necessary regulations and permits.
- Makes sure projects are aligned with agreed-upon plans.
- Managing your Site Managers and Foreman oversees their work.
- Communicating with clients and delivers project progress reports.
- Continuing positive relationship with subcontractors.
- Develops and adheres to the budget, timeline, and quality control plan.
- Collaborates with architects, engineers, electricians, and other specialists.
- Uses scheduling software to update schedules, track progress, and document project progression.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. (Required)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management within the Australian Commercial Construction industry (Required)
- Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Queensland.
