Our medical practice in Kingsford is seeking a friendly, efficient and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team. Knowledge of Spanish is essential and we expect full fluency in English

This position is a permanent part time position of 2 full days a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays

As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll be responsible for greeting patients, managing appointments, and providing excellent customer service

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and check in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.

Manage appointment scheduling, utilizing our practice management software, email system and related software applications.

Answer phones, screen calls, and route them appropriately.

Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.

Process payments

Assist with general administrative tasks, as needed.

Multitasking is essential

Required Skills and Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Australian resident

Experience in a medical office setting is preferred.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Proficiency in computer skills , emails and various other office software packages.

Familiarity with a Medical Software package would be preferred

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team with focus on continuous improvement.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to work productively within a team environment
