The Company
Innovative, fast growing, dynamic company who is a world leader in the provision of autonomous optical search systems for Defence applications. They specialise in the design, fabrication, manufacture and distribution of these complex systems.
The role
Partnering closely with senior leaders to align people strategies with evolving business needs. Oversee all aspects of talent attraction, talent management, EVP and recruitment through onboarding to ongoing development ensuring every stage supports an engaging employee experience. By championing diversity, equity, and inclusion practices you will help cultivate an environment where everyone can thrive
Responsibilities:
Full Employee Lifecycle - Talent attraction, EVP, recruitment, onboarding, training and development, performance management, employee engagement, and offboarding.
Strategic Workforce Planning: Collaborate with business leaders to forecast and plan for future workforce needs, ensuring the organization has the right talent to achieve its goals.
Talent Management: Develop and implement strategies for talent acquisition, development, and retention to build a strong and capable workforce.
Learning & Development - Identify high-potential employees and facilitate succession planning through tailored learning and development programmes.
Culture and Engagement Programs: Lead initiatives to foster a positive organizational culture and improve employee engagement through various programs and activities.
Policy and Procedure Implementation: Interpret and advise on organizational policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Executive and Leadership Coaching - influence and coach senior leaders, driving positive workplace culture and performance
Business Partnering - Act as a trusted Advisor and a strategic business partner to senior leaders, driving initiatives that foster a high-performing, inclusive culture while ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Subject Matter Expert - Be the point of contact for all HR and People & Culture matters to employees and leadership
Ideal Candidate:
At least 5 years of experience in diverse People & Culture roles with a strong emphasis on recruitment, talent attraction and EVP development.
Previous experience in a high growth Technology scale up
Solid experience in implementing learning and development initiatives and providing leadership and executive coaching
Proven ability to drive change and influence outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Experience implementing HR systems, frameworks, and policies to enhance efficiency

This is a boots on the ground culture driver role so the preference is for this person to be based in the Port Melbourne office 5 days per week but could consider one day from home.
