We believe that building a business means building a culture people are proud to be part of. That’s why we’re hiring our first Head of People & Culture to help lead the charge across VIC and SA.
This is your chance to take the reins of a people function with serious strategic weight – and shape the experience of every team member who joins us on our journey to 100+ staff.
About the Role
This is a high-impact leadership role with full ownership of the People & Culture function across both Melbourne and Adelaide. You’ll sit on the company’s strategy team and work closely with the Director to scale our culture, systems, and story.
We’re open to speaking with experienced People & Culture Managers who are ready to step up and grow into a Head of role over time.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Talent
Full-cycle recruitment across VIC & SA (scoping, sourcing, onboarding)
Build a workforce plan to help us scale from 28 to 56+ staff in the next 12 months
Culture, Comms & Engagement
Drive internal communication: monthly staff newsletters, announcements, etc.
Own and grow our external presence on LinkedIn and Instagram
Plan and lead team alignment days, events, and culture initiatives
Run staff engagement surveys and use insights to create action
People Operations & Compliance
Manage onboarding, offboarding, and employment contracts
Develop HR policies, systems, and processes (with outsourced support if needed)
Build training programs and staff development pathways
What You Bring
Experience in People & Culture, Talent or HR (ideally in a growing company)
Confidence and EQ to connect with both tradies and execs
Ability to build processes and create structure from scratch
Passion for creating an exceptional employee experience across all touchpoints
Bonus: you've managed employer branding or social comms before
