We're seeking a passionate and experienced Mental Health Worker / Support Worker / Carer to join our team at Kingdom Care Agency on a casual basis. In this role, you'll provide high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health needs in the Morningside QLD 4170 area. As a flexible, community-based provider, we offer various work arrangements to suit your lifestyle.

What you'll be doing

Providing personalised care and support to clients with mental health conditions, helping them to achieve their goals and maintain their independence

Assisting clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping

Promoting clients' mental and physical wellbeing through engaging activities and social interaction

Collaborating with the client, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans

Maintaining accurate records and documentation to ensure the highest standards of care

Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

What we're looking for

A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar mental health or support worker role

MUST HAVE NDIS Workers Screening Check, Working with Childrens Check, CPR and First Aid

Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability or Mental Health)

A deep understanding of mental health conditions and the ability to provide empathetic, person-centred care

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients

Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work independently

A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of individuals with mental health needs

A valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation is a MUST
