Warehouse Team Member

The Company:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Warehouse & Delivery team member to join our branch located in Rockhampton for an immediate start. We are a privately owned company specialising in the distribution of fresh fruit & vegetables in Queensland.

The shifts range from Monday to Friday with early mornings on a weekly roster.

Job Description: The ideal candidate will ensure efficient receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods, manage inventory, supervise staff, and maintain a safe and productive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management: Control stock levels, reconcile incoming and outgoing stock, and utilize computerized systems for stock auditing

Logistics and Delivery: Supervise the receiving of goods, coordinate with suppliers and transport companies, oversee order processing, and manage freight.

Customer Order Fulfilment – ensure accurate and on time fulfilment of customer orders; liaise with customers

Staff Management and Training :Supervise warehouse staff, provide training, schedule floor staff to undertake daily operations.

Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety and regulations, implement safety protocol; adherence to HACCP protocol

Qualifications:

Ideally experienced as a Warehouse Manager or similar role.

Good customer service focus

Skill in planning and organizing

Ability to manage and train staff effectively.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Basic computer/It skills with some data entry required

Forklift licence

MR licence desirable
