Main Duties & Responsibilities
Recruit, train, and mentor warehouse team members
Supervise container unloading and stock placement to maximise efficiency and availability
Oversee order fulfilment, packing, and dispatch processes
Maintain warehouse equipment and manage packing materials for cost-effective operations
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and uphold a clean, well-organised work environment
Plan and coordinate daily warehouse activities within staffing and budget guidelines
Foster strong working relationships with suppliers, transport partners, and other external stakeholders
Monitor and address quality control issues, including identifying and removing faulty stock
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational efficiency
Promote a positive team culture and encourage cross-functional collaboration
Manage staff attendance using timesheets and/or Xero
Learn and support broader logistics operations to enable career progression
Work closely with the owner on business improvement strategies and initiatives
