About this role

We have an opportunity for someone to join our technical team in Sydney working form our new office located in Parramatta

You will help design, implement, manage, and support Networking environments for our clients across traditional datacentre, campus or cloud environments

You will support our customers, providing advice and recommendations on Network projects as they arise.

Build subject matter expertise and capability around our key vendor partner solutions

Complete ongoing and regular maintenance, such as patching and updates for customer networking platforms

Maintaining customer infrastructure operations by monitoring infrastructure, troubleshooting and reporting on systems and platforms as needed

Providing customers with operational support around key networking & infrastructure platforms and solutions as appropriate

Required skills & experience

4+ years’ experience as a Network Engineer or in a project delivery role within a systems integrator

Current accredited Cisco or similar certification (CCNP)

Knowledge and experience in routing and switching, across both WAN and LAN.

Working knowledge of Cloud and SDWAN technology platforms

Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and problem resolution for on-premises, hybrid and/or cloud networking platforms

Highly desirable vendor technology skills and/or demonstrated working knowledge of the following technologies:

Cisco/Meraki Campus Networking & WLAN Solutions

Fortinet or similiar FW experience

Cisco ISE/Cisco DNAC, VMWare NSX Networks and Firewall,

Microsoft Azure & AWS Networking

Wireless Network review and designs using Ekahau software

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Have current or willing to complete vendor-based delivery certifications

Key Responsibilities

Design and deploy networking solutions across Datacentre and campus LAN, Cloud, SD-WAN, WLAN & Security technologies

Provide technical direction and recommendations to customers and our Professional and Managed Services teams

Implement network infrastructure solutions, handover to customers and support operations as necessary

Place in the Business

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, this role is part of the OlympusTech Professional Services Team.

You will work with other experienced and skilled technical team members to successfully deliver projects for our clients.

The Service Delivery Manager will work closely with you to assign you to projects and design activities. You will work with the relevant Project Managers and clients as required.

Interact and collaborate with the Network Architect to design and scope customer network solutions for projects
