Our client is seeking a proactive and hands-on Senior HR Business Partner to join their team in a standalone HR role based in Canning Vale. This role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of HR operations at site level while working closely with regional leadership on broader people strategies.
As a strategic partner to the business, the Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) will oversee and deliver comprehensive HR services across the full employee lifecycle. This includes talent attraction, performance and career development, compensation and benefits, and overall workforce management-ensuring alignment with both local and global HR strategies.
About the Role:
This position is ideal for an experienced Senior HR Generalist who thrives in a role as the sole HR representative on site. You will be the go-to person for all HR needs on site and provide operational support across the employee lifecycle, including attraction, performance management, talent management, career development, and compensation and benefits, in alignment with local and group guidelines.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Regional or Sectoral HR Manager in aligning HR initiatives with corporate and regional objectives, ensuring the effective rollout of HR policies and processes.
- Provide daily support and strategic guidance to managers and leadership on a broad range of HR issues.
- Manage end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance support, employee relations, and offboarding.
- Ensure compliance with local employment regulations and international labor laws when applicable, seeking legal consultation as required.
- Support and guide managers with award interpretation, Fair Work compliance, and day-to-day workforce matters.
- Coordinate visa documentation and processing for new hires and internal transfers
- Oversee and manage outsourced payroll operations, using SAP SuccessFactors.
- Deliver accurate HR reporting and analytics via SAP SuccessFactors and Excel (pivot tables, dashboards, workforce metrics).
- Lead the implementation of HR policies and procedures across the site.
- Foster a positive, inclusive culture through employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Facilitate internal communications, briefings, and HR workshops to support awareness and alignment.
What You'll Bring:
- A degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years' experience in an operational HR role, ideally in a standalone or site-based capacity.
- Strong working knowledge of Australia's Fair Work Act, employment law, and industrial awards.
- Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and dashboard reporting).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a confident, solution-focused approach.
- Self-driven, organised, and able to work independently while aligning with broader HR strategy.
