About the role:

Reporting to the Manager of Financial Reporting, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations, coordinating tax reporting processes, and supporting strategic financial and tax decision-making. Your responsibilities will include:

• Support End of Month Reporting process for the Group, including

• Accounting for Corporate Departments; and
• Maintenance of the Monthly Tax Fixed Asset registers

• Coordinate and complete Tax reporting processes for the Group, including

• Assist with the preparation of the Annual Income Tax return, including liaising with the Company’s external tax advisors
• Assist with the preparation of the quarterly tax effect accounting, in accordance with AASB112
• Provide strategic tax advice including drafting internal compliance position papers
• Monthly Business Activity Statements and Annual Fringe Benefits Tax Returns
• Income tax compliance and reporting indirect tax compliance and support with tax governance

• Assist the Manager Financial Reporting with:

• Maintaining all internal Financial, Tax and Accounting Policies
• Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements, drive efficiency and identify cost savings

About you:

To be Successful in this role you will be CA/CPA qualified with experience in Australian corporate tax compliance, ideally gained from a leading accounting firm or large corporate.

• Sound experience in the preparation of tax effect accounting and tax reporting for statutory purposes
• Positive, can-do attitude with a natural skill for developing strong relationships with the team and stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple and conflicting deadlines and deliver outcomes to stakeholders that are accurate, timely and of a high quality
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
