As the Executive Director, Regional Services, your primary objective is to provide high-level expert advice and strategic leadership to the Big Rivers regional offices across the areas of child protection, family support, youth support, out of home care, carer assessment and support and domestic and family violence reduction and prevention ensuring the provision of a high standard service and advice is provided to clients.
Your core focus will involve providing strategic advice to the Executive Leadership, managing the region’s budget and human, financial and physical resources, and leading the collaborative integration of services to ensure appropriate responses and place-based needs are delivered.
To meet the challenges of this strategic role, you require demonstrated executive level experience driving strategic objectives in a human services front line organisation, a sound understanding of strategic planning and risk management, and exceptional collaborative and influential skills. Sound political acumen, cultural competence and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills together with proven experience working successfully with Aboriginal people across remote and regional locations is essential.
