The Opportunity

Our client is a true market leader, investment management business supporting a client base of institutional and retail investors across all asset classes.

They currently seek a energetic and technically astute accountant to join a team of 12 to support during the year-end period.

The Role:

This opening comes about due to continuous expansion and is a great foot in the door. Reporting to the Finance manager your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Processing journals and maintaining leases and fixed asset registers
• Managing external audit requirements
• Month-end and Year-end activities
• Tax compliance including FBT compliance and BAS
• Supporting internal/external stakeholders and clients
• Process improvements
• Ad hoc tasks

About you:

• must be CA/CPA qualified
• Minimum 3 years experience in a relevant role
• Preferably someone from audit background with strong attention to details
• Excellent written and communications skills
