Cloud Engineering Manager – Hands-On Leadership | Up to $240K Package
Location: Sydney CBD (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Join a leading retail enterprise as a Cloud Engineering Manager, where you'll lead and grow a team of 7 engineers while remaining hands-on across cloud and infrastructure delivery. This is a strategic yet technical leadership role focused on driving DevOps excellence, infrastructure automation, and secure cloud operations.
What You’ll Do:

• Lead technical delivery across cloud & infrastructure initiatives
• Coach and manage a high-performing engineering team
• Drive best practices in IaC, cloud automation, and security
• Stay hands-on to support and unblock the team as needed
• Optimise cloud environments (Azure OR GCP preferred), security, and orchestration
• Shape and implement operational standards, metrics, and SOPs

What You Bring:

• Proven experience managing or building technical teams
• Strong cloud expertise (GCP preferred, Azure/others also valued)
• Solid knowledge of IaC (Terraform) and DevOps practices
• Strong grasp of enterprise tech and cyber security landscapes
• Confident communicator across both technical and business stakeholders

Package: Up to $240K total (Base $175K + Super + 20% Bonus)
