KGB Electrical is a leading Electrical company in Newcastle, with our office based in Boolaroo. Our work ranges from residential to light commercial projects including maintenance and new build fit out’s. We are known for our excellent levels of customer service and ability to fix problems that other companies can’t or won’t. Our recent office manager is moving on and sadly it's time for some new help – but we only want the best help! Have you got what it takes?
We are recruiting for a Full Time Office Manager/Administrator for a minimum of 38 hours per week (times to be negotiated between the successful applicant and our Director - Greg) currently 8am to 4pm.
You will be responsible for assisting Greg in ensuring all office activities are completed in a timely, accurate and professional manner. You may currently be working for another Electrical or related Trade Business and be looking for a new challenge.
Wherever you currently are, this is what you must be able to do to qualify to work at KGB Electrical:
Be responsible for booking in, scheduling, updating & invoicing jobs in our job management system (Tradify) including all communication with customers
Strong phone skills
Updating costs and drafting quotes in job management system (Tradify)
Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable (Xero)
Manage weekly payroll processing (Xero)
Have excellent customer service skills and communicate effectively with all clients and suppliers in a timely manner via both email & phone
Communicate effectively with Greg and other staff regarding job progress
Management of company social media accounts & company marketing activities
Strive towards producing high quality work in appropriate time frame at all times.

Be motivated and help your team to meet timelines and uphold the KGB Electrical professional image
HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS
Have a minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience in an office administration/management role (exp. in the trade industry would be an absolute bonus)
Experienced using XERO
Experienced using Job Management Software specifically in the trade industry (Exp. with Tradify highly regarded)
A fast learner, with the ability to work with minimal supervision
Not afraid to pick up the phone to get an answer about anything!
