NSW State Government Department - As a Customer Service Officer, you will provide accurate advice and direction on queries related to finance, human resources, and technical systems, ensuring a positive and solution-focused experience for every customer.

ROLE

• Deliver high-quality customer service through effective engagement in a fast-paced, high-volume contact centre environment.

• Respond to customer enquiries promptly, professionally, and with discretion, ensuring confidentiality is maintained.

• Triage and escalate complex or non-standard enquiries to the appropriate Centre of Expertise for resolution.

• Stay up to date with relevant policies, legislation, and business processes to provide accurate and effective support.

• Maintain accurate records in the customer management system, meet daily/monthly KPIs, and confidently navigate multiple technology platforms.

YOU

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service through effective communication, problem-solving, and resilience under pressure.

• Take initiative and accountability for personal performance, showing self-management and adaptability in dynamic environments.

• Apply critical thinking to resolve issues efficiently while maintaining a calm and solutions-focused approach.

• Leverage strong technical skills to confidently navigate and operate across multiple technology platforms and databases.

• Ability to work on a rotating roster, Monday to Friday between 7:30am to 6:00pm
