Ballina Coast Dental is looking for a permanent part-time Dental Assistant, to join our long-established dental practice in the coastal town of Ballina, Northern Rivers, NSW.

Our practice is a family-owned private practice in the heart of Ballina. The practice is located within walking distance to the shops, river side walk, beaches and Ballina Pool. We pride ourselves on providing quality dentistry, in a relaxing and caring environment. We have free on-site parking for employees.

About You:

We are looking for a Dental Assistant to work alongside our experienced Dentists and Hygienist in our four-chair practice. While experience is ideal, we will consider training the right candidate as this role is more than just a skills-based role, we need a person with the right attitude, who values being part of a team and has initiative. The role will also involve reception cover from time to time.

Your Skills & Attributes:

Cert III or Cert IV in Dental Assisting desirable.

Above award rates for the right candidate.

This is a permanent part-time position over 4 days a week. No weekend work.

Flexibility is essential.

You need to be extremely punctual and reliable.

Friendly, helpful, with a caring can-do attitude.

Proactive and happy to work as part of a team.

You need to be an excellent communicator and interested in learning.

Able to provide the highest quality infection control and sterilisation.

Interested in providing top quality patient care, genuinely care about people and want to help them achieve optimum oral health.
