Job Overview:

AUG is an established international education consultancy company promoting Australian, the UK, USA, Malaysia & Singapore Education. We are seeking an accountant who has a passion for accuracy and someone who have commitment towards their job.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts and providing insights to support strategic decision-making

· Preparing financial statements for presentation to management and relevant bodies

· Managing BAS and GST requirements

· Examining operating costs and organisations’ income and expenditure

· Ensuring accurate financial statements and compliance with Australian accounting standards.

· Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records

· Maintaining internal control systems

· Supervising and mentoring junior members of the accounting team and collaborating with senior accountants

Requirements:

· Degree in Accounting or related field

· Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail and time management

· Excellent spoken and written communication skills and ability to speak, read and write English, Malay and Chinese is essential; Cantonese speaker is an advantage

· Strong Practical MYOB accounting software added advantage

· Competent in Microsoft program (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)

· Strong problem-solving, analytical skills and ability to work independently
