About the role

The role is responsible for the planning, administration and conduct of grants, gathering and analysing evidence to assess funding recipient performance and identify risks, issues and improvement opportunities, and developing relationships to support productive partnerships.

With support from the Team Leader, the key responsibilities of the role will include :

1. Collaborate to build productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
2. Assess and monitor the performance of grant recipients against agreed objectives, targets and outcomes in the grant agreement.
3. Identify, document and escalate issues and risks that may impact the progress of funding rounds or a grant recipient's ability to achieve policy or program outcomes.
4. Address instances of poor performance or non-compliance with input from a supervisor to achieve the policy and program outcomes.
5. Contribute to a culture of innovation and change through implementing business improvement strategies and the respectful contesting of ideas.
6. Maintain knowledge of relevant program guidelines, legislation, and policy frameworks.
7. Timely and accurate records management and use of departmental specific IT systems
