Talent International is searching for an experienced Senior Change Manager to join a respected organisation in the higher education and research sector. This role is based in St Lucia on an initial contract until December 2025 with potential extensions.
This role will provide expert leadership in managing the people side of change, focusing on organisational readiness, stakeholder engagement, communication, and change impact mitigation. A senior-level change manager brings the experience required to navigate complex environments, foster stakeholder buy-in, and support the adoption of new systems and processes. Their strategic approach will be critical to ensuring that change is effectively implemented, embraced, and sustained across the organisation.
Key Deliverables
- Change Management Plan: Outlining strategies and activities to manage change throughout the project.
- Business Implementation Plan: Detailing how the project's outcomes will be integrated into business operations.
- Stakeholder Engagement Plan: Identifying key stakeholders and methods for engaging them during the project.
- Communication Strategy: Communicating project updates and changes to all relevant parties.
Key Activities
- Operational and Strategic Change: The consultant will play a key role in supporting and driving both operational and strategic changes for the project. They will work closely with the project manager, implementation manager, subject matter experts, and the technical team.
- Project Objectives and Timelines: The consultant will undertake a wide range of change and communication activities to achieve agreed project objectives and timelines. This will be done within the scope of the project and in alignment with the change management plan and project management plan
Essential Experience and Skills:
- Interpersonal and Stakeholder Engagement: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
- Change Impact Management: High aptitude for managing change impacts from complex technical and functional components and requirements, preferably in system implementations, process improvements change projects.
- Delivering Outcomes: Self motivated, positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to achieving goals through effective team and individual work in complex, dynamic and changing environment.
- Resistance Strategies: Focus on developing and implementing resistance strategies.
- 5+ years of experience in organisational change and communication role
- Proven track record delivering complex projects in cross-functional teams
- Experience in both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
- Experience in tertiary education is desirable.
