About your new role

As the Coordinator Recover at Work, you'll lead a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional injury management and rehabilitation services across the City of Gold Coast. Your role will be pivotal in fostering a proactive recovery culture, enhancing employee wellbeing, and supporting employees' safe and efficient return to work.

In this vital role, you will:

Provide leadership and mentorship to the Recover at Work Team, ensuring high-quality case management.

Oversee and continuously improve injury management systems and practices.

Analyse and report on injury data to identify trends and inform strategic decisions.

Foster strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, medical providers, and external partners.

Influence senior leaders and managers to champion recovery-at-work principles within their teams.

Stay current with legislative changes and integrate necessary adjustments into our practices.

We're looking for people who have:

A minimum of 5 years leading injury management teams in complex environments.

A relevant degree or diploma, with a Statement of Attainment as a Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator.

Proven leadership experience in injury and case management.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Strong analytical abilities, particularly in interpreting data for strategic decision-making.

Experience within self-insured organisations (highly desirable).

Unrestricted Class C Driver’s Licence.
