Superior Cranes is a growing, dynamic and privately owned mobile crane company who operate from yards in Brisbane & Wagga Wagga. We are seeking a committed and experienced Accountant to manage the consolidated financial operations, working from our Brisbane office.

The role will be a permanent position working between 25 and 38 hours per week, depending on our agreed arrangements.

The Group Accountant will be responsible for managing the consolidated financial operations of the group entities, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with regulatory obligations, payroll processing and team collaboration & support. This role ensures financial integrity across the group and supports the continued growth and efficiency of the businesses.

Responsibilities:

Financial management and reporting

Payroll including award specific allowances and agreements

Compliance & audit including statutory reporting obligations

Cashflow & intercompany transactions

Capital expenditure planning for fleet and equipment upgrades

Systems & process management including software process development

Team leadership and communication.

About You:

Financial Reporting excellence, consistently producing accurate timely financial reports, adhering to strict deadlines

Have CPA or CA qualification (or working towards) with 4-5 years’ experience in a similar role

Experience in industry specific payroll management

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & MYOB
