Earth Shifters QLD are seeking an experienced Civil Combo Operator to join our team on a full-time basis, on a casual rate. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the operation of various plant and machinery on our construction sites, playing a crucial part in the successful delivery of our projects.

What you'll be doing:

Safely and efficiently operating a 5T excavator and posi track combo.

Undertaking general earthworks, including digging, loading, site preparation tasks and final trim.

Performing routine maintenance and pre-start checks on assigned machinery.

Working closely with the construction team to complete tasks to a high standard.

Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Maintaining detailed records of work completed and equipment usage.

What we're looking for:

Minimum of 4 years experience operating within a civil environment.

Final trim operation of a range of plant and machinery, primarily excavators and skid steers.

Ability to load and unload machinery from trucks and trailers.

Competent in the operation of a wide range of Excavator and Skid Steer attachments.

An advantage would be to have the ability to read and interpret site plans and construction drawings.

Construction Induction White Card.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management.

Current HR Driver's license and own transport.

Initiative and be able to work without supervision.

Willingness to work as part of a team, and assist with other duties as and when required.

Physically fit.

Able to pass a random drug and alcohol test.

You must have the legal right to live and work in Australia indefinitely to be eligible for this role.
