About the role

Persy's Projects pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Operator to join our team in Bundaberg, Queensland. This is a casual position, offering the flexibility to work full-time hours. As a Machine Operator, you will play a vital role in the Construction industry, operating a variety of plant and machinery to support our various projects.

What you'll be doing

Operate a variety of construction equipment such as tipper truck, digger and bobcat to carry out essential tasks on site

Ensure the safe and efficient operation of machinery, adhering to all relevant safety protocols

Conduct pre-start checks and routine maintenance on assigned equipment

Collaborate with the broader construction team to complete projects on time and to the highest standards

Maintain detailed records of machinery usage and performance

What we're looking for

Significant experience as a Machine Operator in the Construction industry

Proficiency in operating a range of plant and machinery, including diggers, bobcat and trucks

Strong understanding of safety procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Relevant licenses and certifications, such as a white card, digger and bobcat licenses
