We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate experienced Neurological Physiotherapist looking to join our fun and collaborative team. Depending upon experience, the successful applicant will join our team as a Physiotherapist (minimum 2-3 years' experience in Neurological Physiotherapy) or a Senior Physiotherapist (at least 3 years' experience in Neurological Physiotherapy). At Neurological Rehabilitation Group (NRG), you will be supported to learn and develop the tools to thrive in your career while working with a highly skilled team that love what they do. We are an energetic and versatile team of physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, allied health assistants and administrative staff working together to deliver outstanding services in an environment where patients and families feel welcome, safe and in expert hands.

What we do:

We provide an individualised, person-centered service to a range of neurological and vestibular clients and are leaders in concussion management which falls within the thriving vestibular service. Our primary location is in Mount Waverley with purpose-built rooms in both Mount Waverley and Ivanhoe and consulting rooms in St Kilda. We treat in a large open gym where we create a feeling of community among staff and clients and take pride in assisting them achieve their goals and functional potential. We offer a large range of services with the opportunity for clinicians to upskill in these areas if interested:

· Specialty clinics: Posture and Seating clinic, Orthotics clinic, Spasticity management clinic

· Serial and functional casting

· Hands on treatment and access to Bobath trained therapists

· Group exercise classes including: Ataxia group, Running group, Parkinson’s group, Balance Group, Fitness Class, Pilates class.

· Vestibular and Concussion service

· Parkinson’s Disease specific management

· Multiple Sclerosis specific management and groups

· Neurological Pilates

· Teaching through student placements and educational opportunities through tutoring at University

· Hydrotherapy

· Functional Neurological Disorder

· Other areas dependent on your interests

Parkinson's Disease: join our special interest group in the running of exercise groups and education events while developing your management of all stages of this complex condition

Vestibular: complete assessments with senior clinicians and learn to recognize and treat vestibular dysfunction in patients with peripheral and central pathologies

Posture and seating: assist our monthly clinic run in collaboration with an experienced wheelchair technician
