About the role

Allied Health Service Providers' are seeking a passionate and experienced Mobile Occupational Therapist to join our growing team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to NDIS and private clients in their homes and communities, helping them to improve their quality of life and maintain their independence.

What you'll be doing

Conduct physical and psychological assessments of patients and develop or follow a treatment plan

• Assess home and work environments of patients and decide what adjustments are needed

• Advise on adaptive equipment to help patients with daily activities

• Develop physical rehabilitation programs to help patients regain lost skills

• Prepare patients for a return to work

• Educate caregivers and family members of patients on patient care

• Evaluate results and progress of occupational therapy on patients

• Maintain professional knowledge and the technical progress in order to provide patients with the best treatment program available

• Evaluate patient condition regarding physical and basic mental health

• Comply with federal, state, and local certification requirements

What we're looking for

Bachelor or post graduate degree in Occupational Therapy

• Has a valid Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Registration

• Has a valid Occupational Therapy Australia (OTA) Membership

• Has completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module

• Ability to assess patient conditions and work with treatment plans

A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
