Ongoing Opportunity with Quick Perm Potential | Brisbane Northside | Fitter Role in High-Spec Manufacturing

We're currently seeking an experienced Trade Qualified Fitter to join the Exciter team at a globally recognised heavy engineering facility. This is a great long-term role with real potential to go permanent quickly for the right person.

What’s in it for you:

$51.40/hour + super

Monday to Friday – 5:30am to 2:00pm

Early Friday finishes!!

Stable ongoing role with fast-tracked perm opportunity

Work on cutting-edge, high-performance industrial mining equipment

Based on Brisbane’s Northside – own reliable transport required

What you’ll be doing:

Precision fitting, assembly and disassembly of Exciters (heavy mechanical vibratory units)

Refurbishment of existing Exciter machines

Working from technical drawings and engineering specs

Use of tools like torque wrenches, presses, micrometers, dial indicators

Following strict safety and quality control processes

Collaborating closely with skilled tradespeople in a high-performing team

What we’re looking for:

Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter

Experience in gearbox assembly, rotating equipment or precision fitting

Strong mechanical aptitude, safety-focused, and detail-oriented

Solid understanding of lubrication systems, tolerances, and quality control

Reliable and punctual with a proactive work ethic

Own transport is essential

Forklift ticket preferred
