Established in 1982, Capricorn Screens Awnings & Blinds is a proud, locally owned family business dedicated to helping our Rockhampton community feel safer and more comfortable in their homes.

As Central Queensland’s exclusive Luxaflex Gallery and a licensed Crimsafe Dealer, we’re leaders in the window coverings and home security industry. Our showroom showcases the region’s most extensive range of stylish, functional, and innovative internal and external solutions.

THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re on the lookout for a friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable individual to join our dynamic Showroom Team. This full-time role is perfect for someone with a flair for interior design, an eye for detail, and a passion for helping people improve their homes. If you're eager to grow your skills in a supportive environment, we’re excited to train the right candidate—no industry experience required!

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Welcome customers with warmth and confidence

Be the first point of contact—answer phones, manage enquiries, and book appointments

Prepare client quotes, confirm orders, and process payments

Maintain a clean, professional, and inviting showroom

Assist our sales and admin teams with day-to-day tasks

WHAT YOU BRING

Excellent communication and customer service skills

A professional, reliable, and team-oriented attitude

Strong time management and attention to detail

Tech-savvy with basic Microsoft Office skills (Xero a bonus!)

A current driver’s license
