Sales Representative
G & A First Aid Supplies has been supplying First Aid Kits to Australian businesses for more than 30 years. Our primary business is first aid kit replenishment. We service the area between the Sunshine Coast and Tweed Heads.
We require proven Sales Representatives/Agents for the Gold Coast region to become part of our professional sales team earning approximately $700 to $1400 per week on a negotiated base rate and commission basis.
The essential salesperson skills required for old fashioned 'door to door' selling are necessary to be successful in this job. Candidates who have previously run their own business could be suitable. This is a full time position, but part time may be considered.
We require a person who is ethical, honest and self-motivating with good communication and organisational skills. You will need a reliable vehicle for carrying stock, as well as have a set area for back up stock at home.
We will supply you with all stock, full product training and all sales materials.
The position is based in the Gold Coast area. Each position is territory based and you will act as the main point of contact between G & A and our many existing customers. The successful applicants will be required to travel around the area visiting businesses to restock first aid kits. Focus is on servicing our current data base of long term customers, building customer relationships, up-selling and expanding the customer base, by finding new customers.
Responsibilities:
On-site replenishment of First Aid Kits and sale of First Aid Kits, consumables & safety equipment
Cold Call businesses and create new client relationships
Complete all client appointments booked in for the day in a timely matter
Create invoices and take payments using an online system
Essential skills and attributes:
Ability to work autonomously
Current driver Licence and clean driving record
Knowledge of First Aid supplies & Code of practice legislation is highly regarded but not essential. Training will be supplied.
You will be responsible for managing the first aid kits in their respective territories following code of practice requirements. Scheduling appointments, maintaining deadlines, and organising replenishments with customers.
Day to day responsibilities will include:

Maintaining appointments and managing customer expectations:
Providing solutions that match up with our product range:
Meeting new customers and introducing the business.
The successful applicant will:
be familiar with basic iPad or tablet usage
have worked in target/KPI driven environments
have field sales experience
be able to work unsupervised, be organised, and able to adhere to our systems and processes.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 years in sales or customer service
Driver’s License and ABN
The ability to meet goals, and maintain a good attitude with customers
Personal integrity and honesty
Excellent management of own time and workload
We will provide you with resources to understand the fundamentals of first aid products.
