Head of Operations – Distribution & Warehousing
Location: Moss Vale, NSW
Full Time | Senior Leadership Role | Strategic & Hands-On
Are you a dynamic and experienced operations leader ready to make a real impact? We are seeking a Head of Operations to lead the warehousing and distribution function of a prominent entertainment and media organisation based in Moss Vale. This is a full-time, salaried role reporting to the General Manager of Distribution, with broad responsibility for end-to-end logistics, supply chain optimisation, and team leadership.

The Role
As Head of Operations, you will lead the daily execution of warehousing, and logistics strategy. Your focus will be on:
- Driving operational excellence across all warehousing and distribution activities
- Leading and mentoring a high-performing operations team
- Delivering cost efficiencies while maintaining exceptional service levels
- Spearheading major transformation and technology implementation projects
- Championing a safety-first culture
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement warehouse and distribution strategies aligned with business goal.
- Lead and inspire your team, fostering a collaborative and high-morale environment
- Manage third-party logistics providers and key vendor relationships
- Implement advanced warehouse management systems and process improvements
- Monitor performance against key KPIs and operational budgets
- Drive change management initiatives across operations
About You:
- Proven experience leading large-scale warehouse or distribution operations.
- Demonstrated success in managing large teams and driving operational improvement
- Experienced in transformation projects and implementing warehouse technologies
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
- Degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field (postgraduate qualifications preferred but not essential)
- Proficiency in MS Office and warehouse management systems
